Anna Vincent
Born and raised in Dallas Texas, Anna Vincent started her training of Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical and musical Theatre at age 6 at Talent ‘n More Dance Centre. She continued to train at Talent ‘n More while also being a member and lieutenant of her High School Drill team “The Berkner Bandoleras” until graduation. After graduating from High School, Anna attended Kilgore College and became a member of the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes. Where she performed at Kilgore College Football games, The Macy’s Thanksgiving day Parade, President George Bush’s Inauguration parade and Gala, The Cotton Bowl Halftime show and the annual spring show held by the Rangerettes called “Revels”.
Anna continued her education at the University of North Texas as a dance major and while she attended UNT, Anna auditioned for the Arena Football league dance team called the Dallas Desperados Dancers and performed with them for 3 years. During the years of DDD she was performing all over the Dallas metroplex and also competed on America’s Got Talent in 2008 and made it to the top 15.
Being a part of the Dallas Desperados Dancers allowed her to audition and become captain of the 1st NFL Hip Hop team the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue Dancers. She danced with DCR&B for 4 years at all Dallas Cowboys home games, made television appearances and traveled the world performing and representing the Dallas Cowboys.
In between performing professionally, Anna was also teaching dance classes at local studios around the Dallas metroplex and her passion for teaching grew. After finishing her time with the Dallas Cowboys she continued teaching Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical/Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Ballet at the prestige school of Legacy Dance Center in Frisco Texas for 11 years.
Anna and her husband just recently moved to Charleston, SC to start a new adventure by the beach and she is looking forward to being a part of a new dance community at DCC.
