Anthony Bocconi

Anthony Bocconi (Dancer) was born in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music, Art, and the Performing Arts and it was there he found his niche in concert dance while studying Ballet and Modern. Anthony continued his dance training at the Ailey/Fordham BFA program under the direction of Melanie Person while spending his summers training at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Nederlands Dans Theatre, and Springboard Dance Montreal. Anthony graduated in 2013 and has since worked and toured with Lydia Johnson Dance, The Metropolitan Opera, The Santa Fe Opera, Ballet Nepantla and the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company. In addition to performing on stages worldwide, Anthony has had the privilege of teaching the next generation of dancers. He has taught both domestically and internationally, taking him from NYC to Canada, Europe and Asia, sharing his love for Ballet and Modern dance. Bocconi joined MOMIX in 2015.
