Amanda Edge

A former New York City Ballet dancer, Amanda Edge was an original cast member of Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular, as well as a cast member of the Broadway & National Tour productions of Phantom of the Opera and the “swing” in the original Broadway cast of Twyla Tharp’s Come Fly Away!   Amanda graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University with a B.A. in Arts Administration.  From 2015-2018, Amana was on faculty at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and she has choreographed for their students and the students of Ballet Academy East in New York City.  Currently, Amanda teaches company class at New York City Ballet, serves on faculty at Kanyo Arts Initiative, teaches occasionally at Steps on Broadway, and leads barre fitness classes at Pure Barre, Upper West Side.  She enjoys guest teaching and working as a repetiteur for the Balanchine Trust.
